Is there anything more entertaining IN THE WORLD than T-ball? One of the great joys of summer has been watching Shane and the rest of the Castle Rock Green Eels in action, coached by the intrepid Matt Crawford.
As Eel #9 swats the ball off of the tee, the second base runner cut a straight line for home across the pitcher's mound, and the pitcher ducked to miss the bat flung in his direction as the batter ran for first. Who are those kids' parents, and can't the coach keep them in line?
The parking lots in Castle Rock are outfitted with large metal signs reading "Park At Your Own Risk", aren't they?
